Toby is a very special lobster.

What makes Toby so special? Take a look - he is blue!

This special lobster was caught off the coast of Maryland during a fishing trip near Ocean City in June.   He was donated to the National Aquarium in Washington, DC by John Gourley and his fishing team from the boat, Pot Luck.

This team apparently had a lot of luck because an azure-colored lobster is super rare.  In fact, 1 in 2 million rare!

Toby made his debut today in the 'Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuaries' Exhibit.  Toby will have some company in the form of three black sea bass and one tautog.
