CORSICA, Pa. -

Residents in Corsica, Pa., are celebrating Independence Day with their annual Fourth of July parade.

And who better to head it than someone who knows all about the town tradition.

At 102-years-old, Thelma Glenn is the oldest living Corsica native.

This year, the former teacher has been selected to serve as grand marshal for the parade, which is now in its 59th year.

"First of all, it's an honor," Glenn said. "I'll parade up the town in a Corvette with some balloons and stuff. It will come off real well. I am looking forward to it."

Thelma has never been married, and she says many people tell her that must be the secret to a long life.
