Sixers' Hawes Makes Decision About Future

Posted: Updated:

Center Spencer Hawes has agreed to a two-year deal to stay with the Sixers.

The deal is worth a reported $13 million.

Hawes missed 29 games last season due to injuries, but he managed to average over 9 points and 7 rebounds per game.

In other NBA free agency news, star point guard Steve Nash is on his way to Los Angeles.

The Suns have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal that will send Nash to the Lakers for a combination of draft picks.

Nash was reportedly being pursued by the New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks. But he will join Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles.
