Two Philadelphia priests will be kicked out of the ministry after a child sex abuse probe.
Six priests were placed on administrative leave after allegations of inappropriate contact were made in the February 2011 grand jury report.
Archbishop Charles Chaput ruled two of the suspended priests, Rev. John Bowe and Rev. David Givey, are not suitable for ministry but said the cases involved "boundary" or "behavioral" problems, not sexual assaults.
Bowe most recently served at Saint Joseph in Warrington from 2005 to 2011.
Givey has not been at a parish since Our Lady Of Peace in Milmont Park in 2001.
He was placed on leave in 2001, retired in 2006 and placed on leave again in 2011.
Overnight look for passing clouds and a few flurries. Bundle up and watch for icy patches on roads and sidewalks. Lows in the upper teens and low 20s.
The cold stays with us for a few more days with highs around freezing.
Looks like another storm system moving in to start the weekend. This one will likely bring a mix of snow, sleet, and rain. Stay tuned.
