As of midnight, all NBA teams were allowed to officially announce free-agent signings and trades.
The Sixers had yet officially announced any moves, but they are expected to make a few roster moves on Wednesday.
The team reportedly agreed to re-sign free agent Spencer Hawes.
The team has also reportedly added free agent Nick Young from the Los Angeles Clippers and traded for forward Dorell Wright from Golden State.
Sixers CEO Adam Aron took to Twitter shortly after midnight Wednesday to tell fans the team has a plan.
Aron tweeted "Your Sixers getting bigger, younger, more athletic, better shooting, and importantly shorter contracts giving great near term flexibility."
Aron said that Sixers coach Doug Collins and General Manager Rod Thorn will speak about the roster moves later today.
After a one-two punch of snowstorms, we're left with bitter cold. Even with plenty of sunshine today, look for highs only around 30-degrees. West winds 5-10 mph with feels like temperatures in the teens. Bundle up and watch for icy patches on roads and sidewalks.
The cold stays with us for a few more days.
Then, we start tracking another potentially messy wnitry storm, set to arrive on Saturday.
