Cadaver dogs discover a human leg and arm scattered in the grass at Eliza Howell Park on the city's west side. Watch Ronnie Dahl's full video report above.
Evidence crime techs say the investigation is just getting underway.
Somebody walking through the park spotted bones around 2 P.M. Wednesday afternoon and called police. Cadaver dogs were called to the scene to determine if the bones were in fact human remains. Police have since confirmed that they are.
Neighbors around the park believe the remains could have been dumped there by somebody. Those same neighbors are demanding city officials to lock the gate to the park at night to deter criminal activity.
