3 Shot, 1 Killed in Drug-Related Home Invasion

Three men have been shot and one person is dead after a drug-related home invasion on the 7400 block of Medrick Place in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say shortly before 11 p.m. a knock was heard at the door. Three men dressed in all black and masks, then entered the home armed with guns.

Officers arrived to find two victims inside the home and another outside the home all with gunshot wounds to the legs.

A fourth victim later showed up at the emergency room.

Police say the victims are between the ages of 24 and 30 years old.

One victim later died from his injuries.

The other three remain at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in critical condition.

Lt. John Walker says officers found marijuana throughout the house. He says it looks like a drug deal gone bad.
