Forest Fire Burning Near Makepeace Lake - Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29

Skyfox was live over the scene of a forest fire burning in a remote area of Hamilton Township.

Large plumes of smoke could be seen from an area known as the Weymouth section.  The fire began at 7:00am.

Approximately 100-150 acres are expected to burn, with no threat to buildings at this time.

The smoke may cause traffic problems as the fire is burning between the Black Horse Pike and the AC Expressway.

The cause is still under investigation.
