Those were the words yelled from atop the tower at Eastern State Penitentiary just before actors dressed in traditional French attire began tossing thousands of Tastykakes to a crowd of people on Fairmount Avenue.
Bastille Day is annual tradition in Fairmount. Hundreds of people were there to see dancers, reenactors, and others for the celebration of the French Revolution.
Eastern State has hosted Bastille Day for the last 16 years.
