Car Plunges Off Highway, 2 Hurt

Authorities in Camden are investigating a one-car accident that left two people injured.

Police say that the accident happened Sunday afternoon around. The driver was said to be traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 676 southbound when he lost control. The car, a Ford Explorer SUV, overturned multiple times, struck a concrete barrier, and then fell off the highway about 30 feet to a wooded area near Chelton Avenue.

Both the driver and passenger, both in their thirties, suffered multiple injuries, but are said to be non-life threatening. They were both taken to Cooper Hospital.

Charges are pending further investigation.
