Philadelphia Officer Hit & Dragged By Fleeing Driver

A Philadelphia Police officer making a routine traffic stop was hit and dragged by a fleeing driver in the city's Olney section Monday evening.
The officer did manage to obtain the licence and the registration of the driver before he fled the scene. The officer was dragged for one block before the vehicle continued on.
The officer was transported to Einstein Hospital by medics. He suffered a broken foot.
Police found the abandoned vehicle a few blocks away, a short time later.
The suspect is sill at large and is described as 6'2", thin build and sports multiple tattoos.
