Philadelphia Police shot and killed and armed suspect early this morning in the Frankford section of the city.
Police were in a foot pursuit with the suspect on Worth Street before 2am Saturday morning when officer shot the suspect one time. Circumstances of the pursuit have not been released at this time, but the suspect was armed with a weapon at the time of the incident.
No other injuries were reported. The suspect was pronounced on-scene by medics. The identification of the suspect has not been released at this time.
