Police Investigating Multiple Overnight Shootings

Philadelphia Police are four shootings from late Saturday night through early Sunday morning that left two dead and six more injured.

The shootings started just before 10pm Saturday when a man was shot one time in the head on the 800 block of Woodlawn Street in Germantown. The victim was pronounced at Einstein Hospital shortly after the incident. Police are still looking for a shooter.

A few hours later, five people were shot at a house party in the Brewerytown section of the city. A man fire shots outside a home on the 2900 block of Thompson Street around 2:30am Sunday. The victims, all in their mid-twenties, are at local area hospitals for injuries. The worst of the injuries include a 25 year old male shot in the abdomen and a female who was shot in the foot and the buttocks. The male is listed in critical while the female is in guarded condition. Both are at Temple University Hospital. Police are looking for the shooter at this time.

Finally, a 22 year old male was shot two times at the 5100 block of North 6th Street in Olney just after 5am Sunday. Police have not made an arrest at this time, but know who the shooter is.
