Police Arrest One, Search for Second in Camden Murder

Posted: Updated:

Camden Police have arrested a suspect in murder earlier this month on Haddon Avenue.

Authorities took Jalil Anderson of Camden into custody late Friday night at 8th and Pine Streets without incident. Anderson is charged with murder of 16 year old Reynoldo Morales on July 11th. Police are also looking for Turquoise Perez in connection to the murder and consider him to be armed and dangerous. A picture of Perez is featured on the right. Perez is from the 500 block of Pine Street in Camden. Police received information that both Perez and Anderson fired handguns at a conversion van that was driving on the 1200 block of Haddon Avenue, where Morales was struck.

The incident may be connected to two other Camden homicides. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
