Former Neighbor Suspected Of Invading 87-Year-Old's Home Under Arrest

The brutal attack occurred early Tuesday morning on the 5600 block of Catharine Street.
Police say 41-year-old Jimmy Morrison walked into a home and attacked 87-year-old Yvonne Gaines and her 60-year-old son.
Both victims are in bad condition but they are expected to survive.
Morrison is Gaines' former neighbor.
Philadelphia police dealt with quite a few home invasions Monday night Into Tuesday morning. Investigators were also called out to Ninth and Wolf and 13th and McKean streets in South Philadelphia.
On Thursday morning, police announced that they have taken Jimmy Morrison into custody in Chester, Pa. He will be brought back to Philadelphia sometime today.
