Hundreds Show Support At Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day

Posted: Updated:
WARRINGTON, Pa. -

Chick-fil-A restaurants were packed with supporters on Wednesday for "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day."

People showed up to back the chain and its president's stance against marriage equality.

A crammed drive-thru caused a traffic jam at the Chick-fil-A in Warrington. People waited for more than an hour to get their food as a sign of support.

But Chick-fil-A's stance on same-sex marriage is not sitting well with some people.

Gay rights advocates clashed with customers as they protested outside the restaurant.

Gay rights advocates have planned a "Kiss More Chicks" for Friday, asking people of the same sex to show up at Chick-fil-A locations and kiss each other.

FOX 29's Omari Fleming has more details on the controversy in this video report.
