Shane Victorino takes out ad out in Thursday's Daily News to thank the city of Philadelphia.

The ad says "Mahalo, Philadelphia and to the amazing Phillies fans for all the memories."

Victorino and fellow former Phillie, Hunter Pence, made their debuts with their new teams Wednesday.

Victorino went 0-4 in his first game with the Dodgers. With Matt Kemp in centerfield, Victorino is now playing left field for Los Angeles. The Dodgers lost 4-0 to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Giants fans gave Pence a big welcome, but he struggled in his first game with the San Francisco ballclub, going 0-4 with two strikeouts in a 2-1 loss to the New York Mets.

Meanwhile, the Phillies go for the sweep against the Washington Nationals Thursday night in Washington.

Cole Hamels will take the mound for the Phillies hoping to bounce back from a rough outing last week against Atlanta.

The Phillies picked up their second-straight win Wednesday night thanks to one of the old guys and some contributions from the new guys.

In the top of the third inning, with the Phils down 2-0, the longest-tenured member of the team, Jimmy Rollins, connected on a long home run.

Then, in the top of the fifth inning, Rollins connected again, this time to tie the game up at 2-2.

The next batter was new acquisition Nate Schierholtz, and he hit his first homer in a Phillies uniform, giving the team a 3-2 lead.

Schierholtz also contributed with the glove, making a nice catch in the eighth inning. Overall, it was a nice debut.
