Former "American Idol" contestant Bucky Covington received a surprise at a recent firefighters' convention in Philadelphia.
The International Association of Firefighters, during its 51st
annual convention, presented Covington
with a personalized helmet to thank him for his work with the organization's
charitable foundation.
Covington's
sophomore album is out Sept. 11. A portion of the proceeds from the first week's
sales will go to benefit the IAFF foundation.
