Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a proper home for an alligator that was found Rockland Township pond.
A family came across the 3-foot alligator trapped in a small fish pond. The father, with the help of his kids, captured the alligator, taped it's mouth shut and placed it safely inside of a box until troopers arrived.
Troopers whisked the alligator to their police barracks in Reading. They even named it "Little Rocky."
State police are now asking any agency that can help care for the alligator to call the Reading Barracks at 610-378-4011

Thursday weather looks damp and stormy. It will be mild and muggy to start with spotty showers early followed by afternoon and evening storms. Highs in the upper 70s with winds out of the SW 5-10 mph. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.
This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
