FOX 29 gets results for a growing problem that has haunted a woman for years.
We told you a couple weeks ago about a tree literally growing out of an abandoned home on Thelma Street.
That tree caused problems for Maribel Blas, who lives next door.
Well, shortly after our story aired, crews finally got to work.
Check out what it looks like now. Crews were busy Wednesday stripping the house of everything inside.
Blas says this would not have happened if it wasn't for FOX 29.
"I called L&I several times, left messages, my neighbor as well, because the property, the trees were ruining my neighbors' property as well. But calling Channel 29 really did it because within 24 hours, L&I came out. And I guess now the job is being done, as you can see.
The department of Licenses and Inspections says the house will be torn down.
