A college student's plea on YouTube for help on her tuition payment was answered by an alumna, whom she has never met.

NJ.com reports that Judea Hill, a senior at Drew University, posted a six-minute video on YouTube asking people to help her pay a $2,800 balance for the previous semester.

On Wednesday afternoon, a Drew alumna messaged Hill on Facebook offering to pay the balance.

Hill told NJ.com she wasn't expect anything because she posted the video out of desperation.

"I think I'm in shock," she said. "When you are going through something you try to stay hopeful, but there is always that looming negative thing in the back, lurking, saying, 'be prepared you might not be able to come back.' I didn't want to have to make that phone call and tell them I couldn't come back."

Hill is an art major with a minor in psychology and plans to post a new video explaining her bill has been paid but would like to put additional money in a fund for others.
