Man Beaten With Crowbar

Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide in Port Richmond where a man was beaten with a crowbar early this morning.

Police responded to Cambria and Emerald Streets early this morning for a person with a weapon. When they arrived on scene, the found the victim, Roberto Perez, 41 of Filmore St, lying in the street and unconscious. He was pronounced just before 5:30AM. Perez suffered head trauma from the beating he sustained. Police say that there was an argument, though it has not been stated yet what the argument might have been about.

Police have not made any arrests in the incident at this time.
