PHILADELPHIA -

Police say there was definitely alcohol involved in a deadly accident involving a SEPTA bus on Monday night.

It happened just after 6 p.m. on Old York Road in the Ogontz section of North Philadelphia.

A black Acura swerved into oncoming traffic and hit the bus head-on, police said.

The woman in the car's passenger seat was killed, and the driver is in critical condition.

Eleven passengers on the bus, including the driver, were also injured.

Investigators said they found an open container in the car, and they say there was a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver. So far, no charges have been filed.

Officials said they will review the video recording of the collision as part of their investigation.

FOX 29's Chris O'Connell reported from the scene of the crash on Monday night.
