Thrill-seekers found themselves stuck on stalled rides after Valleyfair lost power on Tuesday.
From the air, people could be seen waiting after the Ferris Wheel stopped. A witness told FOX 9 News that the Wild Thing ride stopped on the way up, leaving its passengers no choice but to take a steep climb down.
No injuries have been reported so far.
At around 6 p.m., Valleyfair officials announced that the park would be closing early for the day and refunds would be offered.
Xcel Energy restored power at about 6 p.m., saying equipment failure was the cause. The power was off for about an hour and a half.
