Romney Attacks Biden For Chain Comment

Posted: Updated:
DANVILLE, Va. -

Vice President Joe Biden has made another comment that has people talking.

"He said in the first hundred days he's gonna let the big banks once again write their own rules, unchain Wall Street," Biden said. "They're going to put y'all back in chains."

The vice-president was talking about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's economic plan.

But many people are questioning Biden's choice of language, especially since he made it in Danville, Va., a town that is 49 percent black.

Of course, one of those people questioning the vice president is Romney, who says Biden's comment is a sign of an "angry and desperate presidency."

He told voters in Ohio on Tuesday night the vice president's comment represents an "outrageous charge" that disgraces the office of the presidency.

At another campaign stop, Biden said he meant to say "unshackled." He did not apologize for his earlier comment.

Instead, Biden mocked the Romney campaign for its outrage.
