Another Woman Attacked For Cell Phone

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police say another woman has been attacked for her cell phone.

The latest incident occurred early Wednesday morning on the 2500 block of Grays Ferry Avenue.

The prior three robberies were one on the 400 block of Monroe and two on the 700 block of Passyunk Avenue, all within the past 10 days.

In all, there have now been at least 10 incidents of cell phone thefts, in addition to other valuables being taken.

While it's not clear if all of these incidents are connected, several have similar circumstances and involved a man on a bicycle attacking women from behind.

FOX 29's Dave Scratwieser reported exclusively on this string of robberies on Monday night, when he also talked with one of the victims.
