Missing Therapy Dog Reunited With Owner

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

We first showed you the story Tuesday night of a local therapy dog that went missing.

The 8-month old Yorkie Chihuahua mix named J'Adore got out of a car at the Roosevelt Mall. A witness saw a woman pick her up and drive off.

After our story aired, a viewer thought it sounded familiar, so they called a relative they thought might have picked up J'Adore.

That relative was right, and on Wednesday we reunited the puppy with her family.

"When I woke up this morning, I woke up to a phone call from FOX 29 stating that they thought someone might have the dog. I called that person back and, sure enough, that was the person who rescued J'Adore.

"She's great. She's absolutely, like, the most amazing puppy ever, but I'm glad that she definitely has a great home," said Krystal Eichhorn, who picked up J'Adore so she could keep her safe.

As you can see, she was happy to give the pup back to her family.
