Kensington Strangler Suspect Found Guilty

PHILADELPHIA -

The man police say is behind three murders in Kensington will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Two police detectives testified earlier in the week that 23-year-old Antonio Rodriguez confessed to committing the three sex-related strangulation murders of women in Kensington back in November and December of 2010.

The victims were Elaine Goldberg, Nicole Piacentini and Casey Mahoney.

Prosecutors say DNA evidence linked him to the murders. The trial began Monday with graphic testimony.

On Thursday, the judge sentenced him to three consecutive life sentences.
