Six Flags Great Adventure To Close 'Wild Safari' Portion Of Park

JACKSON, NJ -
Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, N.J., will look a lot different next year.
The amusement park is shutting down the "Wild Safari" portion of the park on Sept. 30. Visitors will also no longer be allowed to drive their own vehicles through the park.
"Wild Safari" is home to more than 1,200 animals, including giraffes, elephants, rhinos and lions.
The park is expected to address the safari's future later this month.
