School Bus Mechanic Accused Of Thefts Worth $400K

BENSALEM, Pa. -

A 68-year-old Bensalem Township School District employee has been arrested for the theft and resale of more than $400,000 worth of automobile accessories, according to Bensalem Police.

Police say Frederick Lange, of Croydon, was arrested Monday after an ongoing investigation into the theft and sale of stolen school district property.

According to police, Lange was employed by the school district as the lead mechanic and shop foreman at its bus garage.

The police investigation found the thefts had taken place over a 10- to 14-year period.
