New Castle Police have arrested a man in connection to breaking into an apartment and stealing women's undergarments.
Police were notified just after midnight on Sunday for a report of a burglary. The victim told police that the suspect made entry through the bedroom window. Through further investigation, it was discovered that the suspect took several pairs of women's underwear, which was later recovered in the apartment complex.
Police found evidence that linked Manuel Duran, who lives at the Lancaster Court Apartment complex, to the incident. Duran was taken into custody without incident on Monday. He was charged with 2nd degree Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and two counts of Theft. He was released on $11,000 unsecured bond.
