University of Delaware Police have released a surveillance photo of a man investigators suspect in several cases of indecent exposure at the university's south campus.

According to university police, officers have responded to eight reports since the spring of 2011 of a man exposing himself in the area of Townsend and Worrilow halls, usually between 8 p.m. and midnight.

Police say the suspect hides in wooded areas and exposes himself when college age women approach.

The man has also been seen slapping his buttocks after getting the attention of female victims.

Police ask anyone who may have seen the suspect to contact them immediately at 302-831-2222. Anyone who has information about the man's identity is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit directly at 302-831-7433 or 302-831-2222.
