Philadelphia Police say murder charges have been filed for the man accused of killing Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker, Jr.
Rafael Jones, has now officially been charged in connection with the murder of Officer Walker.
Police made the announcement during a 1 p.m. news conference Friday.
Police say they are now searching for the second suspect in this case, 19-year-old Chancier McFarland. The second suspect is described as being 5'11" tall, weighing 180 pounds.
Police stressed to reporters that the second suspect is considered armed and "extremely dangerous."
Jones was taken into custody earlier this week, but reports were that he was not cooperating. But on Thursday night, Jones gave police a statement. Police would not elaborate on what he said.
Officer Walker was gunned down Saturday morning while walking home from his shift in North Philadelphia.
