PHILADELPHIA -

Funeral services for slain Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker Jr. were held Monday morning in North Philadelphia.

Hundreds of police officers, community leaders and members of the law enforcement community attended to honor the Philadelphia Police officer.

Mayor Michael Nutter and Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey both spoke at the funeral.

Nutter told mourners he was "angry" and "sick" about the violence in Philadelphia.

The arrest of a second suspect in Walker's killing, Chancier McFarland, came on Sunday as a viewing was being held for the officer.

Walker was laid to rest Monday afternoon at Fernwood Cemetery in Lansdowne, Delaware County.

Before the burial, a public viewing was held at Deliverance Evangelistic Church in North Philadelphia from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m., when the funeral service got under way.
