RADNOR, Pa. -

Police in Radnor Township are on the lookout for a man who they say broke into the apartment of a woman and tried to sexually attack her.

The incident happened in the overnight hours on Aug. 25.  Officers responded to Landover Road in Bryn Mawr for a burglary and attempted sexual assault.

The victim told police that she heard a knock on her bedroom door.  She assumed it was her roommate.  That was when the male suspect came into the room wearing only a gray T-shirt and  a red piece of cloth over his face.

When the female struggled and screamed, the man retreated and ran away toward a Bryn Mawr convenience store.

Radnor Police and Lower Merion Police K-9 Unit searched the area.

Anyone with information regarding the above incident is asked to call the Radnor Police Investigations Unit at 610-688-0503.
