CHALFONT, Pa. -

A Bucks County police officer is accused of lying about being shot. Doctors say he wasn't even injured!

Now, that officer is in trouble with the law.

Chalfont Police Officer Jon Cousin reported he had been shot in the chest after making a traffic stop early Monday morning.

But investigators now say that never happened. They say not only was he not shot, but there wasn't even a traffic stop to begin with.

Cousin now faces several charges. Police are trying to find out why he allegedly lied.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley had more details, including a portion of the radio call audio, during this live video report Wednesday morning.
