Police say the shooting happened just before 3 a.m., when officers who were patrolling the area reported hearing several gunshots.
Officers say when they pulled up to the scene they saw a man running from the area.
Police eventually caught up to the man on the 1800 block of McKean Street, where it appeared he had a graze wound on his right shoulder.
Surveillance video shows a light-colored SUV pull up to a man walking on the street in the area of South 20th Street's 1900 block. The video shows what appears to be gunshots fired at the man, who then runs away.
Another man then gets out of the passenger-side door of the SUV and fires additional shots in the victim's direction.
