Purse Snatcher Caught On Tape In Broad Daylight, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA -
Surveillance video released by the Philadelphia Police Department shows a man entering a Broad Street business and apparently snatching a purse.
According to police, the man walked into the a real estate office on the 1600 block of Broad Street on Aug. 23 at 12 p.m.
Once inside, surveillance video shows the man taking a purse that police say contained various forms of ID and credit cards.
The man then left the office, heading north on Broad Street.
Police describe the man as being black, about 30 years of age, wearing a red shirt with gray stripes. He was seen wearing long khaki shorts and was carrying a black backpack.
