Caught On Tape: Robber Chases Clerk Out Of Store

BENSALEM, Pa. -

Police in Bucks County are searching for the man who was caught on surveillance smashing a convenience store's front door and chasing the clerk right out.

Police said the robbery happened Aug. 23 at 5:11 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on the 3500 block of Street Road in Bensalem.

The man seen on the video used a rock to smash the front glass door, entered and then chased the employee out demanding money, police said.

The man then went behind the counter, removed the cash register and threw it against the ground to open it.

He removed approximately $600 and exited the store.

Police described the man as being white, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build and a shaved head.
