INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Briann January scored 19 points, Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas added 17 each, and the Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky 81-64 Saturday night for their season-high fifth straight win.
Catchings also had 10 rebounds for the Fever (17-8), who moved two games behind first-place Connecticut in the Eastern Conference.
Epiphanny Prince scored 22 points to lead the Sky (9-16), which has lost 11 of its last 12. Sylvia Fowles, back after missing two games, went to the locker room in tears early in the third quarter with an apparent injury to her lower right leg. She returned to the bench but did not play, finishing with two points and two rebounds in about 11 minutes.
The Fever missed 10 of their first 11 shots before going on an 18-3 run to take a 45-31 lead at the break.
