New 9/11 Memorial Along Schuylkill River To Be Unveiled

A piece of steel from the World Trade Center serves as the focal point of a new 9/11 memorial that will live on the banks of the mighty Schuylkill River.
The Schuylkill River Development Corporation and the City of
Philadelphia will unveil and dedicate the memorial, which is located on the Schuylkill River Trail, on September 11th at 1pm.
Mayor Nutter, Commissioner Ayers and other dignitaries will be on hand to pay honor the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.
Three Philadelphians lost their lives in the World Trade Center nearly 11 years ago.
