21-Year-Old Woman Arrested In Connection To Del. Robberies

NEWARK, Del. -
Delaware State Police say several tips from the public helped lead to the arrest of a 21-year-old Wilmington woman in connection with two armed robberies in August.
According to police, Desere Stringfield was arrested at a home on the 800 block of North Monroe Street.
Investigators say surveillance photos released after two early-morning Aug. 10 armed robberies led to several tips identifying the suspect as Stringfield.
Delaware State Police say in both robberies, one at a WaWa store on East Basin Road and another at the Valero Shore Stop on South Dupont Highway, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.
