CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - A judge has set bail at $5 million for a New Jersey man accused of stabbing two neighborhood children while they slept, killing 1 of them.

Thirty-one-year-old Osvaldo Rivera sobbed and shook at his appearance Tuesday in state court in Camden.

He's accused of killing 6-year-old Dominick Andujar and critically injuring his 13-year-old sister early Sunday after having smoked PCP-laced marijuana.

He's charged with murder and attempted murder, but prosecutors say more charges will be filed. Assistant prosecutor Christine Shah says the girl told authorities the man had also raped her. It wasn't clear in court when the girl told authorities that had occurred.

The prosecutor says Rivera asked, "How badly did I hurt them?" during his interrogation.

Rivera didn't enter a plea and does not yet have an attorney.
