The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down Monday in Delaware, damaging several homes.
At least a dozen homes were damaged, and the NWS says there were two injuries reported.
The weather service sent out a storm survey team after there were reports of a funnel cloud on Labor Day around 3:20 p.m., when the storm struck in Kent County.
On Tuesday, that survey team confirmed that an EF-0 tornado with estimated maximum winds of 85 mph hit the Barkley Farms subdivision of Camden, Del.
