The body of a man was found off the coast of Wildwood this past weekend.
Today, the Southern Regional Medical Examiner's positively identified the body as that of 39-year old Middle Township police officer Jason Sill.
Sill's boat, named Rock N'Reel was found unmanned by a fellow boater last week. The keys were in the ignition of the
Nautic Star boat and fishing poles were in place.
The engine was down in the water.
Witnesses tell authorities that Sill took
his boat out from Pier 47 Marina at 9:30am. He was alone.
The cause and manner of his death is undetermined at this time.

Not the prettiest Friday, but we're ready for a great weekend. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. After an early high in the upper sixties, temperatures fall & winds pick up out of the chillier northwest. Right now the Memorial Day Weekend looks sunny and cool with highs in the low to mid 60s on Saturday, in the 70s Sunday & Monday. Cooler temps at the shore.
