Flyers Legend Bobby Clarke's Connection To NJ Tornado

MOUNT EPHRAIM, N.J. -

The National Weather Service will be out Wednesday to investigate the damage from a possible tornado in South Jersey.

The storm in Camden County was captured on video and in pictures from many different locations Tuesday by viewers.

One FOX 29 viewer sent us this video of what appears to be a tornado twisting through South Jersey. He was driving on Route 70, looking south, near the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Other pictures came from Route 70 near the Wegman's shopping center in Cherry Hill and right near Top Dog. The funnel cloud looks huge from this vantage point.

The storm swept through a few blocks of Mount Ephraim, bringing down several trees and limbs. The commotion shook up neighbors, many of whom reported seeing what appeared to be a large funnel cloud.

Crews worked throughout the night, cleaning up downed branches and making sure things were safe for residents.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley was live in Mount Ephraim on Wednesday morning to check out the scene, and he reported on one of the damaged homes and its connection to former Philadelphia Flyers captain and two-time Stanley Cup champion Bobby Clarke.
