Years After Risky Experimental Surgery, 'Miracle Baby' Packs For College

Posted: Updated:

Many thought Adrianna Mancini wouldn't even be alive today, but thanks to a high risk experiment and her unshakeable faith, she's now packing for college.

Like most 18-year-olds heading off to college, Adrianna is struggling with what to take and what to leave behind.

Her tiny baby beanie is definitely coming with her.

Four months premature, with critically under developed lungs -- Adrianna was not expected to live more than a few hours.

Doctors performed an experimental, oxygen-rich fluid that would either save her or kill her instantly. At the time, she was only the second child in the world to try it.
