Police: Man Arrested After Attack On 2 People Outside Church

PHILADELPHIA -

A man is facing charges Friday morning for attacking two people outside a church in Kensington in what police say was a drug related incident.

Police tell FOX 29 a man was selling drugs outside of a church at B and Lehigh Avenue when a woman from the church asked him to move.

Police say that's when the man beat the woman, then stabbed her brother when he came out to help.

An officer happened to be riding by and arrested the man before he could get away.
