Man Whose Wheelchair Broke 4 Months Ago Gets Loaner

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

A Kensington man with no good way to get around finds some temporary relief.

And it's all thanks to a loaner chair given to Barry Kimble by Assisted Technology Group.

Kimble's electric wheelchair broke and he said his healthcare company, American Mobility, told him they would replace it.

But that was four months ago.

American Mobility says they are not the hold-up but are waiting for Kimble's doctor to sign-off on some medical forms.

In the meantime, Assisted Technology Group is scheduled to measure Kimble for a permanent chair this week.
