Fox 29 News has learned an off-duty Philadelphia Police Officer was hit by a car Monday evening.

Emergency responders say the officer was rushed to the hospital and was in critical condition.

SkyFox flew over the scene of the incident Monday evening, where you could still see tire marks on the road.

Cheltenham Police say they later found the car involved in the crash
